2 world wars, 1 world cup According to Madejski Gylfi went against our wishes so we'll be looking to pump that reluctantly acquired money straight back into the squad. Add to that the unspent money still sitting there untouched that Coppell just chose not to spend (again against Madejski's will of course) and we can guarantee it's definitely going to be a £6M+ signing to fulfill our Premiership ambitions. 8)

Will you please stop highlighting those massive holes in his arguments. All supporters are meant to be stupid and swallow the explanations given hook, line and sinker.

I know for a fact that Gylfi didn't want to leave

He obviously did want to leave - I mean he cannot have been forced to leave; I'd agree that he was not looking for a transfer, but it was offered to him by club; i.e. he didn't force their hand.

They give him no choice but to leave.

Jonny confirms on twitter that Hendrie is the third potential signing. Wind up merchant unlike Sir Dodger.

Surely the fans should boo Madejski big time at the next match. How ever being a bunch of morons they won't have the balls to say a wordddddddddddd

Honestly, it is Lee Hendrie! Unless Fordham didn't understand my "is Hendrie the 'one more' question we have the exiciting prospect of watching the mighty Lee Hendrie grace the turf at The Kwik Save Stadium!

Bit annoyed. We already knew Hendrie was on trial and it isn't even a 'signing'.

Secondly. Why do we even need him? We need strikers to put the ball into the back of the net, not midfielders to play in the reserves.

In his prime, Hendrie was a decent advanced midfielder.

We aren't looking for him, Tabb and Howard to do an RFC rendition of Follow The Yellow Brick Road though

If Hendrie proves he is good enough during the next two weeks we will sign a player who plays in exactly the same position. You can argue all day long about his merits but he will be a direct replacement.
