ESPN's free weekend

by Stuffed Crust Pizza » 08 Sep 2010 16:56

For this weekend ESPN will be free-to-air allowing all now-subscribers a chance to watch the channel from Friday 10th - Sunday 12th September.

Coincidentially The Sig is due to make his debut on Friday evening infront of the ESPN cameras as Hoffenheim take on Schalke. Then on Saturday morning Hamilton play Rangers in the SPL, then on Saturday night Serie A newboys Cesena take on the might of AC Milan. A recording of the earlier Bayern Munich v Werder Bremen match will then be shown. Sunday sees a Serie A double as Brescia play Palermo and later that evening Napoli take on Bari, and in between its back to the Bundesliga for FC Koln v St Pauli.

Not bad for free!

Surprised we've not had any subscribers on moaning about how unfair this is yet.

Free in my Virgin bundle anyway. Not that I watch it.

tbh, apart from the odd football match (and I'm not counting ScotLOLand) it's entirely shit and will soon enough go the way of Setanta.

I thought they might have shown some Eredivisie.

Handbags (and any others) - Feyenoord's match in Breda on Sunday is scheduled to be live on betfair video, free to any betfair customer.

Blimey, that goal music was a tad Triumphial-Germanic stylee. Do they march on the spot to it?

Yeh, which sucks as I was looking forward to FCSP in high def. Try this http://www.firstrow.net/watch/26773/1/w ... ke-04.html

EDIT - the 4th link to that game on that page is a stronger quality. Click along to that - it's ESPN's.
