Ha! Good job they didn't see my winebox of Chardonnay at the bottom of my bag then.

The old woman behind me always brings food in - and especially at Christmas - she has mince pies, crisps, sausage rolls, turkey sandwiches - she's never been stopped. :|

I don't think they really care whether you bring food or drink in. I've pointed out the small picnic I've often brought in to them and they've never once had any issue with it. The only thing they're worried about is the bottle tops... never mind what damage I could do with the hefty steel thermos.

Stewards seems to be a little more chilled this season, good to see that old bloke with the grey hair in y24 area has been demoted to traffic lackey he is an utter punt

Walked stright into the ground on Sat with a backpack, nobody seemed in the slightest bit interested. Obviously there was nothing dangerous in there but given that the police had marked the game as having potential for trouble, I'm a bit surprised at my lack of searching

I sneaked my handbag full of semtex, 3 hand grenades and 14 kitchen knives into the ground too this week.
