LOL, why because the Island is such a hot-bed of football?

Tad Showbiz I like the non-league league cup sponsors!
Lemon Recordings Division 1 challenge cup. Who are Lemon Recordings?
Also what a great idea National Ground Hop day is. Shame Reading are at home today otherwise I would have taken in the Reading Town v Wokingham match.

Naah - as usual my hectic domestic duties meant I arrived late-ish (hence no prog ) - forgot to take note of his mobile and he probably didn't get my PM, in time telling him to watch out for a dodgy character in a grubby fleece!
I loitered in the bar - Sky HD etc - had a half of Grolsch - not bad.
Got a vague idea having read his PM to me, that we may have met before in former lifetime - praps on the Wed Midweek Cricket scene ?
Certainly was a bloke there on Wed that looked familiar of old and if I remember correctly had the right first name - but by then I was stood with a load of other 'hoppers' and they started grilling me about Ardley.
... maybe next time - I'm not intentionally elusive .......

Terminal Boardom I did play midweek cricket back in the 80s and 90s I was there and I concur with your observations regarding the new clubhouse. Very nice but lacking in character. I got gassing to a couple of hoppers also and did they have some stories. What I did find out is that the Wootton Bassett programme is a must buy. 60+ pages and loads of colour and only £1. BTW, I got a programme from Wednesday night. Ner ner ni ner ner
Not decided yet where to go this afternoon as I have a family dinner tonight.

Hopefully. Not quite sure how, as Cinderford doesn't have a railway station. Why do I get the feeling that Cinderford will be a lot like Royston Vasey?
