paultheroyal How long is Tabb out for?

Last I heard BBC Berks were suggesting he'd be match fit by November...

According to the OS (dated 20th September) it says he will be out for another couple of weeks.

Good news! :)

Fordham has said he'll be back in contention for the game on October 16th, against Swansea.

Also, should Stretch start against Barnsley? I'd love to see him back in the side. The question is, does Harte deserve dropping.

No.

I think Stretch should get some more time under his belt in the Reserves...

Knowing our luck though, he is likely to put his knee out in training or something.

Tony Le Mesmer Agree about Antonio. Was it the opening game he came on and ran around like a lollaping headless chicken? Hope im wrong, but I dont see much potential in him to be honest.

This ^^^^. He's a mess, all flailing arms and legs. For those who think he is the answer. Umm well I don't agree.

hes raw as hell, and probably not ready yet, but to dismiss him out of hand is daft- clearly has potential

Ok I'll climb down a bit from my previous statement. He could develop but he ain't the answer to our current problems...

yes, but you think coppell was shit, and rodgers is the best manager ever, so what the oxf*rd do you know about anything?

Where's Coppell now? If he was as good a manager as you make out he is he'd be managing in the Premiership still now for a far bigger club than us. Rodgers is showing why we shouldn't have got rid of him.

Coppell has served his time in football, and has retired with his head held high, im nearly 100% sure Rodgers wont have anything like the career in football Coppell had, let alone reach 1000 games. Get over it.

Don't you think we might be at a slight disadvantage with no goalkeeper?

fruits Rodgers seems to be doing a good job at Swansea, he took over a settled team signed a couple of players and they are doing really well.

They were below us in the League last week....won 4 lost 3 is reasonable but nothing special. If their current trend continues they will lose their next away game and have won 4 and lost 4 which is mediocre.

Mediocre? W23 L23 gets you 69 points. Last year that was 7th, one point off the play-offs

Football fans beyond Reading will always remember him for his time at Man City, him bottling it at Bristol City and ultimately failing here, no matter what mong Reading fans say.

As many have alluded to, we can no longer afford the luxury of keeping quality players like Kish on the bench. He simply has to start and whilst Pearce is not the worst, I believe 'boro's first goal showed why he should be the man to make way. Lack of goal threat is frustrating but conceding soft ones is usually more costly.

I'm hoping Howards suspension will be a blessing in disguise. I find his needless waste of possession very frustrating and can't remember the last time someone suggested he had a good game in the more attacking role.

Having grown heartily sick of Coppell's toothless 4-4-2, I believe Brian's 4-2-3-1 is the way forward but it's vital we find someone worthy of the shirt to play in Sig's old position.

On current form, and with many sides choosing to double up on him, giving Kebe a chance in that freer role has to be worth a shot. And, if it doesn't work the club will have no option but to delve into the loan market. I believe this could be the key to our season.
