'greed. I'd love a nice vodka and lemonade prior to a game instead of having to drink that white wine tbf.

That would be nice, and some light jazz in the background if you can organise it Maguire.

Or maybe I should just stop going to the Mad Stad. Oh.

Kick the fecking rugby out of the stadium.

But credit where it's due - they pulled in a massive 6,000 crowd for their game at the weekend, bolstered by them being top of their little league.

And how much do the egg chasers pay for the privilege of using the Mad Stad? Factor in the catering and car parking then ask yourself whether or not the club can afford NOT to have them?

'greed, it just doesn't make sense to have a massive stadium sat there doing nothing for 330+ days a year.

TVs inthe concourse showing endless replays from 10,000 angles of ONE meaningless incident.

Either show highlights of first half action or if not allowed then just have sky sports news on.

Nothing really, but blow up the Forbury and the rest of the Abbey and all the stuff round it and have a new ground there please.

Also, nicer booze and cheaper prices.

Change the badge.

Hoops please!

That's it, I think.

I thought we only got something like £250,000 a year from them. Car parking might bring in an extra £5000 or so a game. It's not a great deal considering how much we must spend on the pitch now to repear the damage rugby causes.

I'm not as anti-rugby as some, even though the game bores me to tears, but it's easy to get the impression that the deal was based on Richmond-style crowds in the days when you could get in for £12.

Ermmm, ISTR that the rugby lot paid 50% of the costs of the new pitch and ditto in maintenance. You're also forgetting catering and hospitality income.

having to wait fifteen minutes for a pint at half time. I if i remember rightly you have 20 minutes to serve alocol after it's been poured, so start pouring after 40 minutes.

The tills must know how many pints are sold on average for a saturday and midweek game so just pour less than that amount. All so simple in theory

tbh if its one of those dark weeks when I get hit with the half-time round then i get up at about the 43rd minute and am back with the beers for when the whistle blows

Another positive is that this approach means you don't have to watch as much of Reading playing football either
