Telephone interview with him at the end of the 5Live Football League Show tonight http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00vf55c from about 1:24:50 on.

Nothing new really, just how much he'd been looking forward to the rest of the season with Reading, but it was an offer he just couldn't refuse.

Anyone watching this? Gylfi is an utter genius. £7million is an absolute bargain for him.

Sigurdsson just scored his and Iceland's 2nd goal, a screamer from 30 yards. Commentator - "You don't often see a £7m player at under 21 level, but that's what Hoffenheim paid their money for. Looks like they got a bargain."

The scoop pass which was wrongly given offside was absolute class :-(

With his left peg too! Am I correct in thinking he is able to play in the Championships as he was young enough to at the time that qualifying began?

Amazing is the only word to describe him tonight. Craig Brown (sort of) says he's better than Brazil.

Excellent second half and just brilliant goals from both teams but Gylfi was pure class.

Just rubs in what we are missing. All three were amazing goals. Can't understand why he is not already in the senior team?

IIRC he has played for them and even got a assist on debut, but the U'21s are on course to qualify for the euros so obviously u'21s want their best players out.
