Its Yaser. He was on trial at Palace over the summer and with us the last couple of weeks. That Crystal Palace reserves match against Brentford mentioned above was in may.

Boukhelifa is the standard of player we need to look at if were hoping to replace Sigurdsson. I think the more likely option is getting in a striker that can replace his goals rather than him. But this trialist has been being played in a 4-2-3-1 so maybe...

Fandi's younger son, Ikhsan, was granted a trial with Chelsea. Both boys were also given trials at Arsenal and Irfan also got a trial at Reading

Once again, WHERE does that say anything about him being on trial here?

Because this is a thread about a trialist playing for us. And I've not heard any evidence to be convinced by.

Both have a good eye for goal and they have impressed scouts when they played at the Arsenal football festival. Both of them would be moving to Italy in march next year to continue their fotballing career.

I must say I am with Kitson12 on this one and am a little confused.

It seems to me that someone suggested a possible name for the trialist. I have no reason to doubt that poster's integrity and he may well be correct. However I do not see how the fact that the player in question has agreed a deal with Brighton and previously had a trial with Palace proves he was our trialist.

Anyway on the team board someone has thrown another name into the ring and the Club's unnecessary secrecy has caused the subject to get way out of proportion which I am indeed adding to now. The argument about keeping it from other Clubs doesn't hold water really especially if the guy has been on trial for two matches. People within the game are almost always perfectly aware of exactly what is going on with players situations through Agents and general word of mouth.

It was me that initially brought up Yaser. There is no evidence in the media that Yaser Kasim was with us, but I was told by a reliable source while we had the trialist, that he was a french attacking midfielder called Yaser. Aparently he wasnt very good in the first game and we weren't going to sign him.

He's a bit old at 36, but shirley we could have taken him on for the rest of the season?

You'd have thought someone in the C'ship or even the Prem would give him a go.

Surely there must be something wrong with him? Or people just hate dirty diving cheats. If he signed for us I'd find it hard to part with my cash to see him dive and whinge like a two year old.

I'd rather part with my cash to watch Pires dive than Shane Long! Not that i don't think Shane isn't talented in this area, but Pires would be a step up in quality.

its annoying that Crawley have a larger transfer budget though!

PS we've had a couple of questions about a North African trialist we had a couple of weeks ago, he's not training with us any more.
