Lower tier for me as well. I have heard the view from the upper tier is not great unless you are in the front 2-3 rows, as the tier overhangs the goal slightly, so at the back of the upper tier you cant see to much, unless the game is played all at the opposite end!

Hopefully we can put in a similar performance at their place like we did during our championship winning season, when we won 2-1.

Shame we don't have the players to do that anymore, and QPR are substantially better than they were in 2005.

EASTENDER MARKY
handbags_harris Tickets, I believe, are the same price as last year:-

Lower tier £25
Upper tier £30

Lower tier for me this year, I don't want to see us spanked with a good view fron the front row like last season.

Every time I've been in the upper tier it has been 0-0. Have seen us win, lose and draw from lower tier but at least there are goals. For that reason, and the £5 difference which would be better spent on 2 extra pre match pints I will be in the lower tier.

£2.50 a pint? This isn't 2007 m8 :P

Lower tier for me I think, if I even bother to go the game

Should actually be under £2.50 with a Boomerang card for Walkabout! 8)

I refuse to pay an extra £5 to watch us get beat and unable to score.

Stuka We should do a banner "Blue and White Hoops Since 1871"

(they only adopted them in the 20's)

.. but that wouldn't be true would it? So far as I recall we started in blue/white stripes in 1871. This discussion resurfaces almost as often as the 'standing safely is the only way ahead' one.

We started in hoops, very thin ones, then changed to stripes a few years later.

Since 1871 would clearly be wrong though.

Anyone know how strict they are with ID? I want to get 16-21 price rather than £25! Planning on using student ID.

900 sold already. Normally O'Neills and Walkabout are alright for away fans. It has been for the last few years.

From away fans guide..
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
'The Springbok pub near to the ground, which has been used by away fans for many years now, is now under new management and has been converted into a Home Fans only pub. On matchdays they have bouncers on the door checking matchday tickets'.
Around Shepherds Bush Green is O'Neills and Walkabout which are both okay for away fans. To find Shepherds Bush Green; exit Shepherds Bush Market Underground Station (the Hammersmith & City line station), turn left out of the station and the green is a short way down the road on the right. Diagonally across Shepherds Bush Green opposite the Central line entrance to Shepherds Bush Underground Station, is a retail complex called Vue, which upstairs includes a Wetherspoons outlet. Otherwise alcohol is available in the away end.
