I suppose it is, the Met training college is at Hendon, however the football club are based in East Molesley

Stretton Royal Hereford v Hythe could be televised as Hythe are the lowliest team left in.

Not according to FoC they are not.

Southport V Sheff Weds will be on for sure.

FC United got through yesterday against Barrow in front of a crowd over 3400 now means they have an away game at Rochdale. I expect the TV companies with the FA Cup rights this season will be falling over themselves to get this one on.

EDIT: FoC already gave out the FCUM score, I should learn to read the full thread!

Had Hythe been at home it would have been on the telly but away from home TV won't bother.

ESPN will broadcast Rochdale's home game with FC United of Manchester on Friday, November 5 and Huddersfield's trip to Cambridge United the following day. ITV will show Southport's match at home to fallen giants Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, November 7.

Stuka I want the Metropolitan Police to do well. Good luck to the Filth

Jeff Stelling on Soccer Saturday mentioned the Hendon v Met Police cup tie. He thought that Met Police would nick it.

Rochdale and FC will receive nearly £70k each from ESPN with the supporters being the ones to benefit with Rochdale reducing prices by nearly half.

Good work.

And there goes my hopes of watching Farnborough in the first round at Gillingham. Three down in the first 10 minutes

I'm missing a classic at Twerton, Bath City 3-3 Swindon Supermarine.

City dumped out of the cup by a controversial last-minute goal, the ref giving it after the ball had hit the crossbar and bounced down. Bum.

Swindon Supermarine's name causes mixed emotions for me. Of course they have that appalling first word in their Club name but on the other hand the Supermarine bit not only evokes thoughts of the Company involved in the manufacture of the mighty Spitfire aircraft but also generates childhood memories of Thunderbirds which was made in Supermarionation.

Further conflict of emotions was caused when they used to play in blue and white hoops which seemed a way of thumbing their noses to their tinpot neighbours from the County Ground. Unfortunately the hoops are long gone although they still have a blue and white kit I believe. Oxford City I think still play in blue and white hoops.

Blue with white trim, I'd say.

Incidentally, I think Rooster may have scored one of the goals last night.

Yup sure do - as do their 'reserve' side who play as Oxford City Nomads - co-incidentally they are at Home in the Hellenic Premier vs the 'other' Reading (RTFC) tonight at Court Place Fm, Marston (just off the Oxford Ring Rd nr John Radcliffe) - will probably pop up there this eve - since I can't face trying to get (via M3/M25 etc) to E.Molesey for the Cup replay.

... Oh and Met Police may do well vs Hendon they are currently 100% in the Isthmian League P8 W 8.

... and the other vaguely southern STEP05 club (Leiston) went out 3-2 in a replay at Dartford last night - so 'locally' Hythe (A v Hereford) are the lowest ranked survivors.
Two former league sides succumbed last night too - Grimsby at home to Tamworth and Workington @ Nuneaton.
'boro eventually lost 5-0 at Dover.
I think that means we only have Woking (A v Brighton) left in as an NL club from within our 'immediate area' - s'pose you could stretch it a bit to count Hayes & Yeading who host Wycombe.

Oh and here's the 'Marine version of events at Twerton last night: :?
(Looks as if 'Rooster' did indeed notch)

Rochdale's match tonight abandoned after 6 minutes because of waterlogged pitch, will they get Friday night's game on?
