Makes me laugh reading all the comments about getting it started and not knowing the words. Tried it twice now at millwall away and Ipswich at home. A few people to our left tried to join in, but just got funny looks from the rest of the crowd. The only words are "so happy together...oi oi oi". Simple as that. Then you just have to listen to the drunken tune after that a few times and you're good to go! When we try it again next home game I hope more people will join in, it really will sound brilliant if we can get this going

Yep - quality song, really think reading fans should give it a go, maybe change the sentence to something else. Be original though, no one in England sings it.

heard this singing last night, was actually really good shame no one joined in and was only 10 people singing!!

I think it will make a good song because we need a song like this to be sang continually and it sounds really good if everyone sings it together!

Totally agree.
The nearest thing we had to a bit of crowd singing that was totally synonymous with Reading was the Terry and June thing, and I recall that Torquay-supporting bird from the telly came down to sit in the East stand and hear it for herself.

Wouldn't it be great if we could pick something like this up, and carve our own niche in British football.
For me it ticks all the right boxes: no complicated lyrics, so you don't have to pi$$ about with songsheets, a very well known bit of music, and even the non- singers can join in by clapping along.
