If Mills does get dropped (which he won't) I just wonder if Ivar would come back in and whether in fact Ivar might be a better option then Pearce or Mills for the time being, Is he still club captain?

Have to be happy really.werent in the game till a soft sending off. But also have to think we may be sat there with 4 more points after last two games. Oh well. Shane long great again but yet again should have scored. Antonio handy when he came on. Hunt scored great goal but missed a free header.church hit bar. Griffin solid. Rest were poo. Defence a shambles. Need armstrong and pearce in for harte and mills.

No way was that 2 points dropped. Red card? Was barely a yellow if you compare to Karacan's late challenge. We were utter pony first half and deserved to be 4 down not 3. Second half was awesome.

Having said that, Hunt miss for 4-3 was infuriating. Great cool finish for 3-2 though.

We always knew this was going to be one of our toughest periods. QPR, Cardiff and Norwich and we have 2 points. That's what I expected.

Wouldn't have Khiz, Harte and Griffin in a defence and then add the iron boots of Pearce or Ivar. Lets be honest Mills isn't going to do that any week and he had a good game after that (including a great tackle that he somehow got booked for). Won every header too.

I hope in the "Back from the game" thread that Long doesn't get slated again, FWIW I though he was good tonight, maybe, as said earlier play him on the right, he is strong and runs well with the ball and has a fair shot on him.

That Church shot was a superb save from the keeper to push it onto the woodwork. But agreed that we had several players who should have scored goals they missed.

Mills is club captain I thought. Ivar hasn't been captain for ages as far as I recall.

Thought Long and Mcanuff were the pick for us.

The sending off was harsh but we've had those given against us as well. If you go in with studs up like Holt did, and he's got a habit of doing that, the ref is always going to reach for a card.

Church should have had a couple in the second half, just lacks confidence in front of goal. It hardly needs saying, but if we had a goalscorer on the pitch we would have won that. Oh, yes, shocking defending as well.

Ingi is injured and probably needs another op. We won't see him this side of Christmas.

Oi Oi Saveloy 3-3...would have taken that on 40 minutes.

Got to feel sorry for Lambert to be fair..All the major decisions went against him. I think many on here will be dissapointed witht only 3-3 at full time, but we certainly had our fair share of luck and this is a point gained, not 2 points dropped.

totally agree...yes we had the chance to win......but lets face it....if someone told me at 40 misn wed draw id piss myself laughing....then again i did say to my mate at 3-1 down it seemed similar to the barnsley game

Wimb Well.... not sure whether to be happy or upset at the end of that.

Happy, that was a soft red and they were destroying us until Holt went off. Just getting back to 3-3 was an achievement. Although we definitely had the opportunities to win it.

Just shows how right Warnock was against us to stay attacking when he lost a player. Norwich threw up a fortress and it didn't work.

agreed as much as people dont like warnock he is a pretty good manager.......doony did the same as norwich and it didnt work either

Archie's penalty Well I didn't watch it but it sounded like a humdinger of a game, boy are we exciting this year!

I think we're going to come about 8th when it's all done. A bit too erratic to get in the playoffs but we are really going for it full throttle. It should be an exciting season.

Very fun. BMd may look like a boring bastard but he has a latin heart.

Reading. The Barcelona of the Championship?

no we are like a poor man's real madrid before moronho.....good going forward but a joke in defence.....on tv, watched barca couple of seasons ago play real madrid away and they destroyed real 6-2 i think

pea Well, we were absolutely quality once the defence woke up a bit. If Mills hadn't played that backpass and we'd switched on for their first goal I'd be saying that on that basis we should be automatic promotion candidates. But we're so inconsistent.

Think Tabb in for Howard next game and we'll be on to a winning team, although I still have my doubts about Harte when we have a player like Armstrong on the bench.

Have to say I really really rate Antonio, gave us the width and possession play we needed. Shane Long, wow.

shane long played well, but missed two sitters....he does everything well but score....oh, he's a strikers...oops

lol tbh he played well today.....man of the match imo
