Off the top of my head in a few seconds, they are the players I've most enjoyed watching in a Reading shirt. Rougier my guilty sin, when he turned up he was almost unplayable.
Edit: Just realised how physically short that side is.

Trainspotter Just been looking through 'Royals Remembered' by Alan Sedunary. A fanatastic who's who of Reading FC players. Please can we have an update as it stops at 2001. Some great players have turned out for Reading. Brought back a few memories.
My team:
Steve Death
Graham M
Martin Hicks
Aidie Williams
Maurice Evans
Phil Parkinson
Simon Osborn
Kerry Dixon
Robin Friday
Tom Jenkins
Subs:
Jimmy Quinn
Trevor Senior
Les Chappell
Colin Meldrum
Denis Allen

yappy Not a huge fan of our current 4-5-1/4-3-3/4-2-3-1 or whatever you want to call it, but I would've loved to have seen this team;
-------Hahnemann--------
Murty-Ivar-Sonko-Shorey
-------Harper--Sidwell---
Little--Sigurdsson--Kebe
----------Doyle------------

He was atrocious. A striker that shouldn't hit a barn door. Better on the wong but with poor delivery. Likeable but really not very good, and that was in the 3rd Division.

Fair play thats pretty much how I'd see it although I'd probably play 2 up top bringing in Robin Friday and dropping Siggy to the bench.

cmonurz Re Rougier, yup, purely because I liked him, possessed more skill with the football that I've seen at this level (even eclipsing the genius that was Mass Sarr in his first couple of games). That he only turned up and showed us this skill once every couple of months mattered not a jot, he could dummy his way out of a straight jacket. Sadly will most be remembered for having the face that was the unfortunate recipient of Barry Hunter's massive toe punt at Wembley against Walsall.
