No offence Snowball, but do you think you could introduce a self-imposed quota of maybe only 5 posts a day or something, as each thread turns into pretty much the same fukking argument?

Scarface I don't care what stats you come up with, the simple fact is Long has missed a glorious chance to win each of the last 3 games, so effectively costing us 6 points. Although his all round game has improved he still has no composure in front of goal, highlighted Saturday when he just kicked it at the keepers body in panic.

We'll ignore the fact that Long MADE a goal, shall we?

And Church missed this game, exact same situation, thru, one on one, and Karacan missed an open goal.

And Church missed another sitter, again laid on a plate by Long, at home.

And Church set up by Long at Burnley, free shot 10-15 yards out shot straight at the keeper

It happens.

Now check Long's career goals per minutes played. It's close to Doyle's.

Runs happen, but maybe it's to do with the lack of chances MADE FOR Long.

Strange he can score 2 goals in 2 games and 29 minutes for Ireland, one in open play

As I said you can bore me to death with stats, but I watch the games and Shane Long's pathetic finishing has cost us points in the last 3 games. His finishing is not improving, so I know for us to improve we need a new number 9, end off really.

Not sure why you bring up Hunt and Church, as this thread is about Shane Long. For the record I don't think Hunt or Church are much better.

I'd take a fit Hunt over a fit Long any day.

Still not sure about Church - but he hasn't had 5 years to prove himself yet.

If you bothered to check you'd find I restrict myself to 2-3 threads

and the above is part of the ongoing argument

LOL, more shite stats.

Just looking down the front page of the forum you are the last poster in 7 of the threads listed, and are the starter of a further 1.

You ruin pretty much every thread with your mindless stats, and actually rather aggressive style of debating.

And you're NOT being aggressive?

Of the 25 threads on Page 1 I haven't posted at all in 13. In about half of the others I've barely posted.

About 90% of my posts in the last 1-2 weeks have been in "Long, Time to Go", and "Harte is Rubbish" with a little flurry in "Mat Mills" and a smaller one in Zurab"

If you need any remedial help with reading or basic arithmetic, or use of colloquialisms, let me know.

I've been on this board 22 Months and 14% of my posts for all that time (590) are in "Long, Time to Go", another 12% in "Shane Long" and I only average 6 posts a day.

it's just my posts are so interesting, powerful and vibrant, it seems like I post more.

If I didn't post my six a day, your small world would be even smaller.

LOL, isn't it time for you to boast about your illustrious literary career again?

You have become a virus of this forum, and you post a considerable amount more than 6 a day at the moment, you just posted a lot more infrequently in your earlier days.

You have genuinely made this board an absolute chore to read...

Christ, if you think he's spamming and trolling stop responding to him. It's not like he's having a conversation with himself.

OOOOOh, get her.

Have you changed tack now? Do the facts make you look silly so now you're just ranting?

If you took six Valiums and bothered to check, I tend to post pretty much in threads where others
have attacked players, in particular Kebe, Long, Harte. I'd be prepared to bet that at least 50%
of my posts are in such threads, and in threads defending manager's or the team's playing record.

Because I actually believe true supporters SUPPORT not take every chance they can to put
down Madjeski, the board, the current manager, various scapegoated players, in the vain
hope that they might actually think better of themselves.

Face to face they'd probably turn into cuddly little pussy-cats, and call Mr Mad "Sir John"

Today you have a post count of 22 and it's not even 3 o'clock yet.

TBH all that table proves is how misleading stats can be.
