Got brilliant eyesight now. No pain, only slightly uncomfortable for a few hours after I had it done. Could just do with some botox for the rest of my face now :|

I can now read the very bottom line on the eye chart which is 2 lines better than 20/20 :D (still have selective blindness of course).

Had mine done in November. Was perfect vision at first but went back a bit on the first check, then back to both being -0.5 as of last week. No biggie but they say they want to keep a close watch on them every month to check it doesn't continue. They are also suggesting I can have it re done.

Should've had it done at my company, would've have got it cheaper too  My vision's still better than 20/20.

Had another check up last weekend and they say my eyesite is now perfect, better than it was with glasses or contacts. How that happened I don't know but I am happy none the less.

Additional - the optician lady that does your check ups at the one on Broad Street is still unbelievably fit. I would recommend having it done there just so that you can see her on a regular basis.

Seems a little costly to get to see a woman.

Sam,

I got glasses a few months ago for distance, is there any rule as such regarding how long I need to wait before I get looked at for laser surgery or can I get it done when I want? My optician said wait 12 months?

Yes, you need to wait a year to ensure your prescription is stable.
