Not sure whether I'm content or seriously underwhelmed with our draw.

Long to score within 10 seconds and to hold his ear up to the crowd?

Very much a :| draw during a :| season so far, really. Could have been worse, could have been a lot better. At least it is at home.

What I find curious and a little bit frustrating is how often Reading draw the same bloody teams in the cups; remember Peterborough 3 seasons running in the Carling Cup? We've drawn Birmingham in successive seasons in the recent past, ditto Swansea. WBA will visit for a third FA Cup tie at the Madj in 6 seasons. We never played Liverpool in any competition until we got to the Premier League and then we couldn't stop drawing the buggers in every competition going.

To be fair, if you were a fair to middling PL club and you drew Reading for the third time in six years, would you be happy with it?

Who really cares. It's underwhelming, but a home tie against anyone was my first priority as such, and I got what I wanted. A winnable tie which means possible progression and possible £££ in the coffers...

TBH, I would be happy if I drew Reading in the cup. Not the club we used to be and imo, it's a very winnable fixture for them. 2-0 to the Baggies

Decent draw. Likely to be an entertaining game and it's fairly winnable as Prem oppostion goes. Plus the return of Shorey factor. Could have been better, could have been worse.

They look to be pretty fair-minded about it in all honesty.

Reading is worth it just for the most middle class "youth" ever. The one last year who was giving it loads only to be seen being picked up outside in a range rover after was genius.

I thought the home game against WBA in the cup was one of the best games I have seen at the Mad Stad last season. As for this game depends on the team they put out. We should go for it as we aint going to do nothing in the league.
