T.R.O.L.I. Out of interest, I see Fedders got booked today. Was this for timewasting?

T.R.O.L.I. Who is Elwood? :|

Leigertwood.
L'wood.
Elwood.

I can never remember how to spell his name, so he's Elwood for me.

BenReadingFC We got as far as Bicester on the M40 before turning around only to get stuck in a jam caused by a jack knifed lorry. Sat there for just over 3 hrs before being able to pass it. Could hear the game on BBC Berks though so that lightened the mood.

I feel for the poor people that are stuck in the same area as we were earlier. Looks like they're gonna be there all night

Really enjoyed the match, thought it was really open and both teams looked good, although Derby were probably better. My three last trips to football in the East Midlands now have ended in us winning 2-1 with a late winner. Bring on Forest in April

Federici was amazing today. Doubt we'll be hearing from Thou Voice this evening.

A very good day indeed - good work to those who made it, real shame for those who couldn't.

Federici: 9 (motm) - kept us in it, could have been all over without him
Griffin: 7 - mostly solid as usual, couple of dodgy passes putting Pearce in trouble though
Mills: 7 - kept it simple, much better when he does that
Pearce: 7 - looks better each game
Harte: 7 - slow, composed, usual game. Good touch at end giving boots away, nice to see passion and gratitude
Leigertwood: 8 - see Pearce
Karacan: 7 - better than last week, good partnership developing with Leigertwood
McAnuff: 7 - some great runs, superb assist and tracking back but occasional infuriating lack of concentration/effort. If/when he scores, the confidence flows, could be unstoppable
Kebe: 6 - not quite back yet, maybe next week?
Hunt: 6 - not his day, tried but not working well with Long at the moment
Long: 8 - great game, could have had a hat-trick, great pen, keep it up Shane

Church: 6 - great positioning as per, but you really have to score from those sort of chances
HRK: 6 - not much time, flashes of good in with the mediocre
Howard: 5 - Brian, I like you, but FFS change your boots and when the ball is crossed low across the box hit it!
McD: 8 - good selection, attacking changes, happy anniversary Brian!

Derby fans pre-game (Brunswick): 8 - cheers for the beers
Derby fans during game: 8 for the 500 singing, 3 for the rest
Reading fans: 8 - good effort from the Few

Merry Xmas all, hope you all get home safe (f'ing nightmare anywhere south of Northampton)

Well people call Armstrong Stretch

that's because "stretch armstrong" has an element of humour to it.

Elwood doesn't.

I'm perhaps going out on a limb here, but I have a suspicion that even a trickle of fans being as amused by "Elwood" as yourself is about as likely as the Venus de Milo joining a darts league.

I fecking hope he made it. He was going to drive up Friday night and I persuaded him that he didn't need to!

Poor bastards, 3am. Hope they had enough cigarettes and bog roll in the car. It was 1 lorry that jack knifed across all 3 lanes that caused this. Then about 5 other lorries close by couldn't move due to this, leaving 1 zigzag lane passable with a decent run up the slope.
It took us 3hrs to move from the most northerly green dot to the most southerly.

Funniest quote of the day!! Thanks for making me LOL - and I don't even know PB!!!

Congrats to all who made the journey. You are true Royals fans, and am so glad you were rewarded with 3 points.

We had 6 inches of the white stuff during the game, (er, snow that is, before anyone starts to worry about my cocaine habit - er, which I don't have btw), so our Boxing Day jaunt to see us v Bristol City is already looking in danger. Essex CC don't know what gritter lorries are around our way.
