Dreadful days at Liverpool caused dreadful mismanagement for the last 20 years. You could tell the plot had been lost when they appointed Graeme Souness as manager, since then all the managers they've had have been utterly awful and as the years of winning next to nothing have mounted its all been consolidated by the appalling Gillette/Hicks take over.

Now they have a squad of players who just are not good enough for a club like Liverpool and even if they are good enough just don't want to be there (mind you in the case of Torres even he doesn't seem to want to know where he wants to be as he's been just as awful playing for Spain as he has Liverpool for the last year).

So will it go full circle and see Kenny Dalglish re-appointed, will Hodgson remain or will O'Neill be back in the frame. Then again how about Ian Holloway for manager, at least there'd some passion in the team......

If there's been a worse performance in the premiership this season, I haven't seen it.

Absolutely woeful.

Because he's one of the best English players currently plying their trade in the EPL at the moment?

Thought he looked a bit off the pace last night - but then he is just back from injury.

TBF - a fit Torress and Gerrard would walk into virtually any prem team. The rest of them wouldn't look out of place in the Championship.

Just wait until frimmers hits you with Tom Huddlestone's career achievements.

He may have a new retina, but he's just as (deliberately) one-eyed.

why? Frimmers specifically asked about 'career highs', I would say runners up in Champions League would be one.
