it's about a 20min walk or so through their pretty dump town from the station to the ground. Usual town pub fare, there's a club house that welcomed our lot on the day, however i imagine with a full house pretty much expected that won't be the same this time.

Just seen the Stevenage Team's reaction to the draw.

It was a bit like unwrapping a shit jumper from a rich aunt on Christmas day while she watches.

Undewhelmed hardly scratches the surface.

I might make it over for this. I'm presuming as a lightweight I should be OK for a ticket.

Will we sell 1400 tickets for this? Unlikely. Nevertheless, I'm IN.

MmmMonsterMunch Seeing as I am a STH and have been for many years I can get a ticket just as easily as you then can't I you patrionising idiot. Sorry if that sticks in the craw.

LOL @ your rabid reaction to the quite reasonable suggestion from some bloke further up on the thread suggesting that people who attended yesterday's game should get priority. Care to argue his logic rather than throw around insults like a keyboard warrior?

I will happily argue it. The way the system works now is fair & shouldn't be changed. 1st priority is & always should be STH's. They are the ones who have invested the most cash upfront supporting their team - many of them year after year.

Then it should go on royalty points - again those who have invested the most watching Reading get an earlier chance to buy. The only thing that perhaps might need tweaking is the royalty points system - i.e it should be perhaps a rolling 24-36 mth system so that people who haven't attemded much in the past 5 yrs don't continue to dine off past glories & those who are currently watching get the tickets they want.

Other than that I have no qualms with it at all.

Why should season ticket holders get priority? For the thousands of season ticket holders who came after the premier league, they get priority? I'm not a season ticket holder anymore.. but i still attend games whenever i can, on royalty points il get in before most. But i'm just saying season ticket holders shouldn't have priority over royalty points.

It should go on Royalty points from the last 2 years - those who have stuck with the club since relegation and those who are ST holders would have the highest amount of points - as it should be.

I'm 17 now, i got my frist season ticket when i was 7, i gave up my seat in the second year of premiership season, because of the price. I haven't got another one because i have to work occasionally on saturdays, i go to as many games as i can, yet those who have started following since the premiership season go ahead? It should be done on Royalty points, but to stop, like someone said, people using there points from years back, it should use royalty points from the last 10 years, or something.

Agreed. I very much doubt points will be needed for this. This is not disparaging Stevenage.

Cup games are outside of the HST set up at home unless specifically requested IIRC so i am sure this applies to AST.

The away season ticket works very differently from a home season ticket

1/ you do not pay for all games in one advance purchase payment, you still pay on a game by game basis

2/ you do not get a "discount" for committing to all the games, you still pay full price

When you take the away season ticket you take commit to purchase EVERY away game that season not just league game

What's to stop someone applying for an AST and never using it much?

Well derby vs Crawley is on tomorrow and that's hardly a glamour tie, plus Stevenage are getting all sorts of attention at the moment. It's possible!
