TBM Personally i think Blackpool were just trying to get a player on the cheap who could fill a gap and be a decent enough back-up. Whereas we have probably more chance of offering him more first team football

soggy biscuitRoyal Lady Signing a striker for £300k and then saying "this is as good as it possibly could have got" just tells you everything about RFC these days tbh.

I wouldn't be too sure.....most of their money will go on improving the stadium and paying the players bonus' for staying in the league (if they do).....if they go down then they will struggle to get back up again

To be fair to him, Jesus had quite an upbeat long term view.

brendywendyStranded I'm fully anticiapting the other to be Leigertwood on a perm deal until it's someone else.
why would BmcD have referred to it in on the radio the way he did if it was legs?
hed just have said, yes we are trying to bring in BWP, and tie up the permanent liegertwood deal

Royal Soupanoodle Just been trying to think why BWP would prefer coming to us over a Prem team.
BM may have a connection with Ian Wright from his Arsenal day's and as Wright Snr came to the Mad Stad a few times when Sir Steve was here, they may think this is a better environment for BWP to progress.
It wouldn't be difficult for Blackpool to beat us on the money and Premiership football front, but otherwise I think we have more to offer him (training facilities, stadium, coaching staff etc) or am I being biased?
