Ian Royal Federici.
In all seriousness though it's pretty obviously going to be one of, probably both Hunt & Church. Maybe Long as well depending on how he does here.

Royal Soupanoodle Just been trying to think why BWP would prefer coming to us over a Prem team.
BM may have a connection with Ian Wright from his Arsenal day's and as Wright Snr came to the Mad Stad a few times when Sir Steve was here, they may think this is a better environment for BWP to progress.
It wouldn't be difficult for Blackpool to beat us on the money and Premiership football front, but otherwise I think we have more to offer him (training facilities, stadium, coaching staff etc) or am I being biased?

I certainly think there are some connections between Reading and the family. Coppell gave Ian Wright his chance in league football, discovering him in non-league. Coppell is still good friends with McDermott. According to Wikipedia, Wright's son Brett played for Reading reserves, though I don't remember that.
There are other teams that could afford what we might pay for WP, so I'd like to think he preferred our set up. After being at Southampton and Plymouth, it'd make a change for him to be at a stable club. Also, the idea of playing with wingers like Kebe and McAnuff must make his mouth water.

Snowball Blackpool (and I'd love to see them stay up) are a miracle club but are still in danger of going down this season
or next and it's a messed up currently pretty rubbish ground, and I'd guess with relatively poor facilities (and Blackpool itself is a shithole).
At RFC he'll play, be competitive, possibly go up, probably be top-six and "in the window:.

Agreed. A similar thing happened with Brett Pitman - Blackpool offered Bournemouth their asking price but Pitman chose to go to Bristol City rather than Blackpool.
Obviously there's something fairly unattractive to players about Blackpool.

facaldaqui By the way, Ian Wright seems to be as popular with Hobnobbers as Angela Rippon is with viewers of Dancing on Ice. So let me say that I like him. He can be a little irritating, like an excitable schoolboy, and he's no TV presenter--but I admired his commitment and character as a player, and I loved it when he was a member of the commentary team for England matches, providing passion and comedy value (though not penetrating analysis, admittedly).
Bradley seems like a nice boy in the same vein. Despite some scrapes, he's not guilty of any crimes, other than that of playing for Southampton.
