I doubt they see us as a big club. Just as one of the only clubs that isn't broke.

I'm not convinced "every" player from lower leagues would jump at a chance to join a side like Blackpool
if they thought they were coming back down. I doubt being associated with a relegation is ever attractive.

Depends how true a lot of the rumour and gossip is.

I think we might be being a little more open with our targets and perhaps not playing our cards as close to our chest as we used to.

I also think it might just be that we're one of the few Championship sides who haven't bought many players this season (net) and are in a decent position, both financially and in the league, that might make us viable purchasers. That might mean that when the stories are being put together we're the 4 for many journo's 2+2s.

Hopefully it's because we're being a lot more active and chasing down a lot of targets to try improve the squad though. No smoke without fire perhaps?

I'm pleased for Brian if he's been given the opportunity to operate proactively in the transfer market at last. Up to now the players he's brought in have been to patch holes in the squad: Williams, Harte (the same hole, those two ), Griffin, Zurab, Leig. He has not been given his head to actually develop and progress the quality of the team overall from a mid-table outfit. Now perhaps there's a chance to see what he can do when given his head.

Thing is at Blackpool you have put the work in, you can't just
promenade around and think that one or two fancy passes are
illuminations that will con the supporters. Do that and you'll
be in the C-side before you know it.

It's not the best stadium in the world but it is a fair ground
but as someone has already said, every season will be a bit
of a rollercoaster.

Over the years they've had a few donkeys there as well.
