FiNeRaIn
SpaceCruiser And we had a £11 million overdraft to pay off.

Ok, so that would account for how much out of the 25 million + player sales and the x2 40 million tv money amongst all the other income. We would seriously have had to be paying players on a par with chelsea, why wont they tell us how much the players got?

Im sorry, it seems like the club are going to be using this excuse for the next decade.

And we still think we are a "Big club"If Madjeski thinks we are a big club then he is deluded. We had a little go trying to mix it with the big boys now we are back being "Big"as Rochdale. The third and fourth divisions is where we belong while Uncle John is still there,we have had a laugh, now lets get real,if we cannot afford a couple of million for a player,we might as well go back to mixing it with Hartlepool and Crewe.Dont expect anyone on here to agree with me though but its true.

FiNeRaIn
SpaceCruiser Yes, on player wages.

LMAO! What about two years worth of prem tv money, full houses, merchandising and since 25 million or so worth of outgoing players and a current squad amogst the lowest paid in the division?

Thats a lot on wages, we must have been paying the likes of stephen hunt and james harper more than frank lampard and john terry with your logic.

oh just read the oxf*rd accounts

Not really, Huddersfield have a bigger away following than we do and have more history.

I think QPR might come in for him especially with the injury to Mackie

They dont have the money available to buy him

Warnock said yesterday on Talksport that he's lining up a couple of players from the Premiership but the owners will only allows players in on loan.

It's a funny situation at QPR, they have very serious money behind the club yet in comparison of the dosh available they seem to run a tighter ship, money wise, than our very own tightwad.

More history?

Reading have 37 years more history...

Reading FC - Founded 1871
Huddersfield FC - Founded 1908

Now, had you said Huddersfield has more of a successful history...

basically waiting till the year they go up by dint of it being "their turn", then will pile in financially after that
probably looked at the championship, and worked out its not the biggest spenders who go up and propser
