Ok, so after my initial anger and dissapointment, I have decided that yes, everyone deserves another chance. I just wish Reading would go back to the Steve Coppell days of being one of the most honest and morally respected teams in the football league. We now seem to regularly dispute referee decisions, dive in the box and employ a guy who did this:

blah blah why would you want not to moan about poor referee decisions they cost us points. everyone dives these days and it can win you games i rather take the three points then lose and then say well at least they didnt dive you dont get any prizes for being the "nice team"

Why the delay I wonder, it sounded as if it were a done deal on Saturday - and the fact that McD mentioned him by name seemed clear to me that it was in the bag.

I dunno, we have announced quite a few signings late in the day, used to fairly regularly leave and find it's announced by the time I get home (when my journey times were longer than 10 minutes that is)

This medical is more in depth than most due to previous knee injuries. The medical has been in two stages and the second part is due to conclude this afternoon. I wouldn't anticipate an announcement until tomorrow. That's if the boy comes through it.
