I believe it is still possible that Long will be a more valuable player than Doyle
and since Doyle went for 6.5 Million, I believe that could also happen with Long.
Not if he goes in this window, but if he gets near 20 goals this year and maintains his all-round game
he will be over 4M (I'd say probably 4.5M this summer). If he manages 18-20 next season he will be
25 years old with 11 v Premiership goals, and 59 CCC goals and probably a dozen international goals
to his credit. Doyle was 6.5 Million age 26 and he'd scored 19 Premiership goals and 36 in the CCC.
He may go, of course. He MAY lose form. He could get injured. But the raw boy is coming good
and if he stays with us I think we'll be in the Premiership in the 2012-13 season
