Don't think Griffin has been at his best this season. However I'd probably be telling Cummings he's pushing Griff close, for now it's cup games or suspension / injury, but he's in my plans long-term.

Think I'd probably stick with the normal League side tbh barring injuries etc. I'd still like to have Howard in the side to add some passing nous in the middle, but given Legs has apparently had two really good games on the bounce and it would be almost unthinkable to drop Karacan I don't think he could come in. Only other way would be for Hunt and going 4-5-1 again, but I don't think his presence nearly justifies such a significant change.

If Hunt doesn't start doing a little better I'd like to see Church getting a run in his place to see how he does at some point in the not too distant future. ignoring the potential for any new signing.

It's hard to pick a best defender to be honestly... He's been steady, but hasn't been as good as last season for me. Some of the others have been more up and down.

And of course, he could have been our best defender, and still not have been at his best. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Weirdly, Alex Pearce has been my favourite defender in recent games. He wins every ball and reads the game a lot better than this time last season. :?

Don't think it's weird, I haven't seen the last couple, but he's been excellent in the vast majority of the other games I've seen. Definitely a candidate for best defender so far this season.
