THere is no planning permission anyway - it expired three years after it was granted.
Is this true? So we couldn't expand the stadium this summer if we wanted to?

Idealbigmike why would the club want to??
Well, let's say we were promoted. Then it would make sense to expand it. You know, there could be at least 6-7 matches were we could sell out a 36,000 capacity.

No, we would need to re-apply.
The decision notice states that work must begin within three years from the date the permission was granted - that date was 17th July 2007.
It is all on the planning part of the Reading council website - http://planning.reading.gov.uk/publicaccess/tdc/dcapplication/application_detailview.aspx?KEYVAL=JCDA1TMSO3000&module=P3&hidereturn=true

Ideal Wigan - 21379, they were also the lowest atttendance the year before, 21954.. all the other attendances listed seem to be 23k'ish or better.
Probably the team least people wanted to see, and brought the least away fans..?

Ideal Well that pretty much settles that discussion: if we are promoted, then yes, we would benefit from getting the stadium expansion
