That is one good relegation scrap going on in the Prem

Still, it was a blatant penalty though.

I'm just flabbergasted that a normally so level-headed poster like Ideal has made such an aggressive and prejudiced post. The mind boggles.

Ideal
Skyline I wouldn't call that a 'lucky' penalty call. Howard clearly brought the guy down.

"The guy" Rodriguez was headed away from the goal, and was already halfway to his knees before Howard even touched him.
Blatant dive, clear and obvious dive. He was looking for that.
Whether or not Howard grazed him is beside the point, the guy went down like someone had shot him in the neck, and his knees were two inches from the grass long before Howard grazed him.
He has his arms up to catch his fall LONG before Howard touches him.
In the exact moment when Howard makes impact, you'll see the guys calfs are already horizontal, and his arms are also horizontal to break his fall.
He was well prepared and went down like the sack of shit he is.

Different class.

I think Liverpool are a very considerate club; they know that the vast majority of their local supporters are going to struggle in the next Year or so, therefore, the football club is making a concerted effort to ease their financial burden by deliberatly failing to qualify for Europe next season.

Well done LFC; we salute you.

Well done LFC; we salute you.

Once again I am truly amazed that people are so concerned about every game that Liverpool plays.
I suppose it is the paradox that they are having a couple of poor seasons which so many find surprising for the most successful club in the history of English football.
Any fools out there still think they will do what Man Utd and Chelsea did in the 70s and 80s,get relegated?

I'm not saying that Liverpool fans are living in the past or anything but Utd were relegated about 40 years ago. Why not go a bit further and mention the teams relegated in the 50's

You'd hope so, they've got the biggest club in Liverpool to overtake too.

Liverpool fans really are the scum of the earth.

Did anyone see the Liverpool fan chanting 'Munich' at Old Trafford a couple of weeks ago? Their fans also caused thousands of £££s worth of damage to Old Trafford.
