Stuka
paultheroyal Its all ticket for home fans, from club shop but i am not sure whether any can be purchased online or telesales. They expect tickets to be available up until 3pm on the day of the match - i can see a fair few Reading fans getting into the home sections.

If anyone does this avoid the East Stand if you can although it wont matter too much.

I phoned a mate to get mine for me up Stevenage. I'm in North Terrace, where less likely to be 'outted'.

Why avoid the East Stand?

Moved from Stevenage to Kings Cross area last year.

(started supporting Reading around 2001 when I briefly lived there)

East Stand is most passionate, loudest supporting end but as I say nothing too much to worry about if you keep your head down.

There are some Stevenage H and Away supporters here at work. If i didn't get one from the club my other option was the home end.

Looks like their sales are on the slow side and it'll cost me £4 less while standing and giving you pcunters loads of abuse 8)

For those not going at all the game is one of the selected highlights games so you might be in luck trying to watch it online.

If anyone is popping up to Stevenage to get a ticket, PM me.

I'll be prepared to stump up for fuel costs as well.

Shows how far we've come as a club in recent times. There's a real eagerness to see us play at little old Stevenage when I suspect there'd be relative indifference if we'd got a Premiership team.

I miss the little 'uns.

I agree - but I wonder if it's actually more telling in that it's a rather damning verdict on the championship and the upper reaches of the football pyramid.

We're fed up of paying over the odds to sit in souless stadia watching overpayed prima donnas.

Can't just be me...can it?

Stevenage have stopped purchasing of home tickets if

a)You don't have a Stevenage post code
b)They don't have you on their system as a STH etc...

I think people are more keen on going to this game because we actually stand a chance of beating them and going through to the next round - though I am, of course, fully aware that they beat Newcastle.

Fortunately several of my daughter's teammates from her football team live in Stevenage and have already offered to do the honours if required!
