Yep - quite a few people had Liverpool replay tickets and didn't go in the end because of the weather.

I only made it because I bought the ticket off someone who didn't want to risk the trip becuase of the snow - the journey was a bit hairy at times.

lowerwestjnr FFS :'( was planning on doing the whole cup run this year. Just interested why we didn't sell out for liverpool away, west brom away in the cup last year, but manage to sell out for this. It's not even terracing, so why the big interest? :(

Reading have never played Stevanage, and its another ground to see Reading play at; hence the interest.

It's not like part time supporters are going to this game. The people who have got tickets like myself have 1400+ points! Everyone knew this game will be like gold dust.

Tony Le Mesmer Hands up who has a ticket for this but "didnt bother" with the WBA? Only the cup after all.

Only a cup game at home against a team we played 4 times last season, if you want to be precise.

Whereas this is a nice short away trip to a team we've never played in our history :rollyeyes

does anyone have confirmation if it is unreserved seating for this game?

I do see the frustration for those that attend a lot of away games and were not able to get tickets for this but anyone who had gained over 1400 points surely has earnt the right to select what games they choose to go to, there must only be a hand full of people who havent been able to get tickets but feel justifably annoyed they weren't able to. To me if you have over 1400 points you have shown enough loyalty to the club over the years!

Ticket office has just confirmed. It's reserved seating. But I'm treating it like a terrace.

20 mins outside of London, old fashioned club, decent welcome and atmosphere, don't have to go too far north where all the poor people are.

RIP Elm Park when Reading fitted that description :(

i do feel sorry for people who don't have enough royalty points but the system rewards people who have been to games, and spent money towards the club over the last how ever many year royalty points have been going for. They reward people more for going to home games as it generates more money for the club than away games do.

I guess the ticketing was done in a way so people who have followed the club home and away to a certain % of games would be guarenteed a ticket IF they wanted to go

I don't feel sorry for anyone who can go, or can't.

Hope this helps.

Did you order yours on-line/on the phone? If so, when? Just wondering when I can expect ours to drop through the letter box.

Where to drink is the big question. Our Mutual Friend is 15 minutes away or the Club house Bar which might not let us in.

Taken from the internet football ground guide - Across the roundabout from the ground there is a Retail Park that has various eating outlets such as Pizza Hut, McDonalds & Burger King. There is also a Harvester outlet called the 'Roaring Meg, which also has a bar.
