I was in the Mad Stad hotel for a meeting for much of today and there was a lot of activity with Nick Hammond and a group of three people one of whom looked very much like Mathieu Manset (although he didn't look as big as in the photo in this thread). There was a lot of reading paperwork and mobile phone calls and at one point they all left the ground floor bar area (where this was all taking place) and walked into the back offices. It looked very much like a deal was being done. Nick Hammod certainly picked up the (non alcoholic) drink and food bill!

It has surprised me in the past that Hammond does deals in the public hotel but I have witnessed it myself - as I have been there when he is having meetings at a table in the bar. Perhaps he doesn't get an office! or his office is so small he cannot get anyone else but him in there.
