There's a large car park on the the opposite side of the dual carriageway from the ground.

Went to Stevenage yesterday and there were no Stevenage fans in sight, just a couple of other Royals fans.
Was actually told be someone at the club that they were expecting a large following from Reading in all areas of the ground and were taking the necessary stewarding/policing measures. The guy at the club actually told me that to be closest to the majority of Reading fans I needed to be in the East terrace however if I just wanted a quite afternoon the North terrace would be better. After reading on here about postcodes required I went over to chance my luck thinking of possible scenario's on the way. The one that I didn't consider was the fact they actually wanted me to buy tickets.
Is this the friendliest club in the league??

After what happened v Newcastle, they're probably more worried about the behaviour of their own 'fans'.

Much as I don't think Harte is up to the standard we require, I won't run onto the pitch and thump him if we beat Stevenage!

Yeah The East terrace seems the best shout. Unlike the away end this is standing only and at £18 I can get myself a burger with the £4 saved!

Purchased 3 tickets in the east stand terrace ... 8)

ATM looks like there'll be more Reading fans than Stevenage at the game...

From my visit to the stadium yesterday it sounds as if Stevenage are expecting there to be more Reading fans than their own.
They seem determined to get a capacity crowd. Tickets for East terrace and North terrace on general sale on a buy as many as you want basis, still plenty of tickets left.
Only downside is you have to go to the club shop to buy them, there is no phone or online option.
Guy at the club also said there would be no problems wearing your colours anywhere in the ground..............not sure about that!

How tight are Stevenage on standing? Are we expecting a standing away end?

I would suggest that little detail pretty much guarantees there'll be hardly any Reading fans in the home stands. Unless they missed today's game, people would now need to take a day off work to go to Stevenage to buy a ticket in advance, and I can't see too many doing that.

If the clubs were smart they'd have thought about segregating the side terrace and giving us part of that side too. Pretty poor that they are struggling to sell their tickets for a 4th round cup tie though.

'sall right. Just get a cab from Padders to King Crers. For four peeps it might be cheaper than the Tube. And if you get a travel card then get a bus. Seemples.
