weybridgewanderer inconsistent
inability to keep a clean sheet
not able to beat teams in the top 6
these are the reasons why we will not make the play offs this season

rhroyal I'm amazed the focus given to Shlong's "penalty appeal". I was watching with a load of neutrals. I said there was no chance, they all agreed. Yet McD mentions it. We were definitely cheated on Tuesday, but not tonight.

When you consider the money spent from others and where Reading are, it's no disgrace.

The disgrace is that we haven't spent and have infact sold our better players from the last few seasons.

Oi Oi Saveloy Only saw the second half, but we were god awful against a team far superior to us. Just goes to show what money can buy.
QPR have the best defense in the league and proved impossible for us to breakdown with their disciplined and organised back 4, and to be honest, in the second half they never looked like conceding. They were always likely to get a chance to nick it and that extra quality makes a difference as they only needed one chance.
Can't say I am too dissapointed though. We lost against the best team in the division that have spent a decent amount of money on quality players and have a good manager. It was men against boys out there tonight, but our young team will learn from this and come back stronger.

Kitson12floyd__streeteWimb Still our playoff hopes won't be won/lost against QPR it's the other teams in and around the playoff zone we need to beat.
Record against the seven teams above us? Played 10 won 0
Am I right in thinking it's only 2 lost though?

leon yes i think whilst we were poor, let's not go overboard on the praise for QPR. I wasn't massively impressed - if the 1st half had an extra 5 minutes we'd have probably scored, true they were down to 10 men - but we should have murdered them with our wingers 2nd half. That's why I'm so pissed off - it wasn't how good they were it was more about how poor we were.
