brendywendy but this could cost us promotion by the end of the season

It is certainly a massive blow which I agree could be costly as the final table will be very tight but if a team falls apart because they lose a player for three matches then that team is not good enough to get promotion anyway, especially when that player isn't even their own. Great chance for Tabby or Bryn now. Always looking on the bright side of life maybe Brian Howard will prove to be the Messiah rather than a very naughty boy.

Wycombe Royal
Barry the bird boggler It really is ludicrous how welsh clubs are allowed to play in English leagues yet are not affiliated to the same organisation as the rest of the teams.

They should either become affiliated to the FA or disappear off to the Welsh League.

The fans of both Cardiff and Swansea both hate this - they would much rather be governed by the English FA.

They are "guests" in The English Leagues.

The FAW have tried to force clubs to play in the Welsh Leagues.

When Newport County refused they were forced to play their home games at Moreton-in-the-Marsh

Hence their nickname, "The Exiles"

They eventually won in the courts and are back in Newport

Snowball Who is Ledge?

The gentleman from QPR is ineligible
and anyway his name is ELWOOD

Jay Tabb
“I had big shoes to fill with Ledge being ineligible. I think he's been one of our players of the season since he came in, so it was always going to be tough.

We need 3 points from our next two games, and then, if Elwood plays the rest of the season
and we go unbeaten W7 D7 L0 that's 73 points. Close!

With Elwood Playing

The Undefeated Run Continues

H 0-0 Leeds United
H 0-0 Coventry City
A 2-1 Derby County
H 4-1 Bristol City
A 1-1 Hull City
H 2-1 Burnley
H 1-0 WBA FA CUP
A 3-0 Doncaster
H 1-1 Hull City
A 2-1 Stevenage (Scored)
A 2-2 Cardiff (Scored)
H 1-1 Watford

Played TWELVE Undefeated - W6 D6 19-9 GD 10

If these were all league games it would map to 24 points from 12 games = "2 points per game" = 92 point season

League games only P10 W4 D6 L0 16-78GD=8 18 Points from 10 = 1.80 ppg extrapolating to an 83 Point season

Not quite sure why you're persisting with this Elwood name, he isn't known as that, only you call him that and it sounds stupid.

Class.
Now all we need is an attacking midfielder with the same authority and quality.
With that in place we're not far from half decent.

Moderators! Checck this post for insulting term used to describe those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
Mong is a contraction of the term mongol or mongoloid (now thankfully defunct) used to describe those who have Downs Syndrome.

Come on H&P watch the language.

Actually, there were at least two people on here who, with their supreme wisdom and knowledge of football, expressed their displeasure at this acquisition:

"Strangest addition to the squad since Brain took over."
