Royal LadyRoyal Lady And she said "cash flow problems" did she not?
Plus, she said on here that she was going to speak to other STAR members and supporters at the Watford game, long after many of us had bothered to email the club to ask more questions and long after I'd given the "non-refundable deposit for a seat" idea by way of email to customer services and also in a letter to The Board of Directors. So, to make out STAR have been doing all sorts behind the scenes "for the fans" is rather misleading, wouldn't you say?

Sarah Star If you want to pick out those 3 words, yes.
Have a listen again.

starliaison 17 Feb 2011 - Sorry for the silence from STAR but as Dirk implied I am the only one on here who has a STAR moniker now and my work does not mean I am constantly on the internet so it is a bit hit and miss.
This was not mentioned at the part of the last management meeting we attended - I suspect it was on the agenda after we left - so it was as much a surprise to me as it was to everyone else.
I took time to respond as I consulted the rest of the STAR Board to see if anyone else had been 'in the know' and so far have not heard from everyone so will be doing some talking at the game on Saturday. That is to supporters, Board members and I hope to RFC people to understand why they see the necessity to release the seats so early.

Royal Lady People have been asking on here what STARs thoughts on this were - and eventually you came on and said you hadn't heard anything about it and would be speaking to other members and RFC supporters at the game last Saturday to gauge their views.
In the meantime, I and others, have taken it upon ourselves to contact the club and ask some questions and put forward some proposals. I clearly made the comment about non-refundable amount to secure a ST seat early on - I'm pretty sure your first post was after this time.
If you were already doing stuff behind the scenes, I presume on behalf of your members and interested RFC supporters, I'm surprised you did not mention it when you first posted on here.
If the club change their minds and revert to a non-refundable deposit, I don't care whose bloody idea it was, as long as something is done.

Harpers So Solid Crew I dunno, I am all confused now, suffice to say lets hope the renewal day is put back to June, then we can all move onto the next thing to moan about.

Even money i'd say that when/if the club does back down it'll be Star shoving their way to the front to claim credit.

Surely not.... credit must go to the muppet Paul Collins RFC's - Stadium & Customer Service Supervisor who has been a great ambassador for the club.
He's probably kacking it and wondering when he will start the lonely walk down the corridor to see Sir John to pick up his P45 if he has not already done this.

Harpers So Solid Crew In which case he should have consulted with the people above him before sending out the response, perhaps he did just that and covered his back. In which case well done him.
