Not sure what that will mean for away fans though.

I assume this will definitely go to general sale, as we'll get over 7,000 tickets right?

According to their fans forum, the ticket office have said that we are only getting 3,000 tickets!

That can't be right surely? I thought it was 15% of capacity for the FA Cup?

I'm not sure there will be that many bands. If they are going to be posting tickets out, they will probably want them all in the post by end of next Wednesday or Thursday absolutely latest.

FA rules stipulate that visiting clubs can request up to 15% of capacity but once requested must pay for all of those tickets unless agreed in writing with the home club.

In the light of the latter stipulation, RFC may have got cold feet because of the time of kickoff and the fact the game is on the tv but I really hope they haven't significantly underestimated the level of demand.

Surely, they can request more if we were to sell out straightaway...it's just RFC being financially clever and not requesting 7000 and only selling 3000..but having to pay for the lot...the stand can accommodate more and won't be sold by Citeh straightaway, due to the need to separate the 2 sets of fans...

TBF there is no way Man C will sell all the home seats, so RFC should have tried a sale or return option on tickets, for a second tranch at least.

No problem with that, as long as City won't allocate those seats to their own supporters in the interim.
