Ark Royal
Libertine Textbook definition of a "thrashing". :D

Agreed. 4-1 is a really good result, but 5-1 is a right mullering.

LOL...from my States background 4-1 is a thumping. 5-1 is a thrashing and 6-1 and beyond is just plain destruction.

But I do like a "right mullering"...it rolls right off the tongue. So that it is!!! :D

Ian Royal Why are all the mongs on the radio choosing promotion over winning the FA Cup and getting a genuine major honour that can never be tainted or taken away from us? We've done the Prem already, it ain't all that.

I'd take an FA Cup final loss ahead of getting promoted, let alone winning the trophy itself!!

I consider reaching the QFs of the FA Cup as equivalent to winning the title, so reaching the final would eclipse anything the club has done before imo.

Nah, QFs equal PO Final appearance for me. Semi's promotion.

Thats just based on the clubs FA Cup history, only 3rd QF ever, and my own expectations for this season. I consider reaching the QFs an amazing achievement given how we got there in the last round, and i never expected us to even make the playoffs this season so winning the title I would have considered an amazing achievement. They're both equal in my eyes. Semis for me would equal the "106 season". Of course, chances are a place in the final would prob mean a European place.

Hope that all makes sense anyway!

Terminal Boardom WTF is going on? Cue the "Boro must be shit" jibes. I must admit to being more than surprised at the scoreline. Looks like Tuesday night has given them much needed confidence.

This was a must win game but expected it to be tough and knew that Lita score. But tbh im not really surprised at the scoreline. On the back of our amazing cup replay win at West Brom last season we were at home to Sheffield Weds who were in the bottom 5 at the time...and recorded our biggest win of the season at that point, 5-0.

URZZZZZZZZ Week before Villa last season we beat Sheff Wed 5-0

This was the gist of what i was trying to say!

I don't know why but I love our run but cannot believe we will beat City or am I traumatised by the spanking Arsenal gave us in the prem. TBH I would rather we scraped through to the prem via play offs and build again. URZZZ!

Man City 1-1 Fulham
Man City 1-1 Blackburn
Man City 0-0 Birmingham
Man City 1-2 Everton

These are results that reassure me that we can get a draw out of the City game :) Keep the faith! (even if none of us will be able to go)
