LOL @ TMD.

The Telegraph:

"Sir Alex Ferguson, the silent knight, refused to pass comment after this desperate display and no wonder he was speechless. Manchester United were so poor, an experienced midfield exuding all the movement of Easter Island statues, while Wayne Rooney was alarmingly subdued. Rarely can a Ferguson team have performed with so little conviction or cohesion."

BBC:

"Javier Hernandez pulled a goal back for United in injury time but this will have been of no consolation to Ferguson after 90 minutes in which the Premier League pace-setters looked vulnerable and overpowered in all areas."

The Guardian:

"The supposed challenge had the air of a rout on occasion. That statistic will still be less hurtful than the dismay over a line-up that hardly disturbed the Liverpool back four when the contest was still genuine."

Just double checked, 58% possession 80% passes complete agiants 70. Fair play you put away the chances gifted to you but our shite midfield still dominated.

Lol possesion doesn't mean you dominated, Surely the dominant midfield is the one that creates oppurtunties and stops the oppisition doing that, which was clearley what Liverpools midfield did! Keeping possesion in your own half is far from dominating the game.

TheMaraudingDog The main worry has to be as a Liverpool fan, getting completely bossed by the worst United midfield for 20 years in a game that if it wasn't for 3 shocking bits of defending you'd have lost 1-0. And they honestly beleive next year is their year :|

They don't think they can win the league next year. They just feel this season is a bit of a right-off and they're already looking forward to next season and hopefully for a top four finish under a better manager and hopefully some more big signings in the summer. There's nothing unreasonable in that.

They thought that last season

Utd were pretty poor but still managed to hit the post, have a ball cleared off the line

Two of Kuyt's goals were complete gifts. The other you have to take your hat off to Suarez. I
doubt he'd have waltzed through Vidic and Ferdinand so easily but they weren't there so it doesn't
matter. Wasn't really watching the game so missed the second goal and Carragher challenge.

Liverpool won their cup final and are now only 18 points off the pace.

I get the need of United's fans to make the odd prickly dig at Liverpool supporters, PR, but doing it constantly as you do is getting a little desperate.

I've seen three attempts at positively spinning this result for United, and as you can imagine being a Liverpool fan I've read a lot of write-ups, comments on this game. You, TMD and some numpty on the Guardian website who could only muster 'Liverpool were shit too'.

United need to get over it. You're still favourites for the title, just need to accept you were utterly outplayed LOLiverpooLOL.

Also forgetting their numerous other chances I see, Suarez early on and Maxi just after the first goal aswell to name but a few.

What I don't understand is your username is Comonurz. Yet you're a Liverpool fan?

Well it's pretty easy to understand by now that I also follow Liverpool, Kes. You'd have to be particularly stupid not to understand that.

Actually last season was probably the only one in the last 20 years that the majority of Liverpool fans didn't think that. Well done
