All the best Chris. Didn't play much due to injury, and now obviously illness but still managed to win POTS.

The Prisoner Official text - has retired from professional football today having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in late 2009.

All the best Chris. A great player.

Jesus, what awful news.

All the best for the future, Stretch.

Wonder if the club might do a charity match with proceeds going to the MS Society or something?

Very sad news and I hope that the MS is in remission and that Chris remains fit enough to lead a normal life. Always gave 100% and put in some excellent performances.

Good idea, but they'll only issue 10 tickets for it, as they don't see the demand.

It would be good PR and they just could tie it in to a friendly in the close season.
