RoyalBlue KERCHING!

And this time it's likely to happen even if the Chairman wants to keep him (unless we are promoted this season). He is clearly a PL player despite his lack of pace*

If we aren't already we would start sniffing around to find two decent replacements and try to get some pre-contractual agreement in place. Every penny received for Long (less agents' money) should be reinvested in two decent replacement strikers.

*Keegan's view LOL

McD beat you to it - why do you think Manset and Williams were signed in the Jan window? Replcaements already in place and "schooled in the Reading way" when Long leaves in Aug.

Sorry, they won't be good enough to replace Long come the start of next season. They are longer term prospects than that and may or may not come good. We need some proven talent this time around.

Don't disagree with you, but you just know that that will be the spin the club puts out when Long goes and is not replaced.

Since when did the OS take to calling Legiertwood "Micky Ledge"?
I don't like it.

What position were Blackpool in this stage last season? Didn't they sneak in also?

Except this one hopefully! Only just noticed there's only 10 league games left after this one - gulp, need to pick up 6 points on Leeds in 10 games.

Ipswich are well on top at the moment. And it sounds like we're letting them. We despirately need a second.

Yep, but they got in with 70 points. Probably won't be enough this season

Regardless of anyone else's results a win away at an in-form team would be a fcuking good result & would be a great confidence builder for Sunday.
