Wycombe Royal
Snowball Just a thought but if Elwood maintains this for the rest of the season

P14 W7 D7 L0 29-15 GD=14

28 Points from 14 = 2 ppg

We would finish on 74 Points and a GD of 27 and a brilliant, near-cert chance of being in the POs.

I don't think 74 points will be enough for the playoffs. After 36 matches last season the final playoff spot was occupied by Cardiff with 52 points. This season it is Forest on 59 points (and Burlnley only 3 points further back with 2 games in hand). I can see 75 or 76 points being needed.

No problem.a draw at Barnsley puts us on track for 74 (WDWDWD) so we'll just win there and then drop back to 2ppg for the last 9 = 76

To be honest we should be looking to win most of our games now we have our tails up. Obviously those at Forest and Leeds will be very important but the rest look like golden 3 point opportunities to me with Barnsley, Pompey, PNE, Coventry and Derby and Sheff Utd all quite possibly having very little to play for when we play them.

9 wins to sneak into 2nd anyone?!

Barnsley v Reading,
Reading v Portsmouth,
Reading v Preston,
Nott'm Forest v Reading,
Scunthorpe v Reading,
Reading v Leicester,
Leeds v Reading,
Reading v Sheff Utd,
Coventry v Reading,
Reading v Derby,

Not ten wins then?

Obviously at Leeds and at Forest will be extremely tough, but IF we could win at Barnsley, we
have a decent chance of going to Forest WDWWWWW in the league and if they are still sliding
we could well beat them.

I'm aware it can go tits up at any point, including at Barnsley. No room for error now, but just solid
point-getting coupled with wins at Leeds and Forest would probably get us in.

Nah we could lose on pens after an extra-time draw. (I don't count penalty shoot-outs)

Big Congrats to Elwood and the Team.

No disgrace losing at Man City, even with our first eleven.

Rather than start a new thread, though i'd put this here. I received the "eight reasons to be a 2011/2012 Season Ticket Holder" and Mikele is on the front, is this a sign a deal has been made? or am i clutching at straws?

When Elwood came on tonight he was AWESOME and his play solidified us in the middle
and playing 4-4-2 we looked twice the side.

I like Mills, but if he's a 2 Million Pound player then Elwood is 4M.
