KC Royal Hold your horses everyone. Wouldn't this increase the chances of QPR keeping Legiertwood on if they didn't go up?

or recalling him, if Faurlin was suspended etc....

fingers crossed for a buy option in the loan agreement which has already been done and dusted.

Screw it, I'm willing to sacrifice having Legs with immediate affect if it means QPR a) get relegated and b) we get to see Warnock's reaction.

Maybe the Football League will do what Colin wanted the Premier League to do.

And LOL if they do.

When will this be heard? Will it take place before the end of the season?

I'm not sure there's a recall option on "season long" loans.

Anyone know for sure?

I thought you could only recall from a full season long loan? Or is it 'end of season' loans?

Football League Rules 40. BREACH OF CONDITIONS OF REGISTRATION

40.1 Failure to comply with any of the conditions relating to a registration will render the Player ineligible to play for the Club concerned as not being a Registered Player.

40.2 Any Club playing an unregistered Player in a League Match may have three points deducted from its score and/or be liable to such other penalty as the Board may decide.

40.3 Any Club playing, in a match under the auspices of The League, a Player who is under suspension by The Football Association may have three points deducted from its score and/or be liable to such other penalty as the Board may decide.

Too woolly for my liking.

may. and/or.

three points per match or season?

Lawyer's field day...

That would be an ecumenical matter.

Lets not p*ss our pants quite yet on this one, chaps. After Tevezg8 expect a nice tidy fine; FL and FA won't want lawyers all over this one all summer.

I don't understand much of that lot but it looks like Ledge is ours for keeps

There is actually a real chance of them getting deducted points here.

On a case by case basis, every team who has done this has subsequently been docked points or thrown out of the competition (I remember a couple of teams getting booted out of the FA cup for this)

IIRC the Tevez case was slightly different in that it was a dispute over the technicalities of 3rd party ownership not them fielding an ineligible player.

Won't be more than 5 pts though.

EDIT....just read the article & it seems it is exactly the same as the Tevez case so scrap everything I just said! Will be a fine & no more than that. Would be uproar from Sheff U if they did get deducted pts. That has set the precedent now.

Colin was absolutely insistent that Brooking's cheats should have been deducted points over Tevez.

What a wonderful irony if the authorities now show that they took heed of his words, albeit belatedly, and now apply that sanction to his current team!

If that happened, I really would fear for his health and the safety of those in the immediate vicinity!

There's just no way they will get deducted pts. Sheff U would countersue quicker than you can say League 1.

What would Sheff UTD have to do with it?

Because the same thing happened the year they got relegated. They didnt take pts off West Ham with the Tevez saga - if they had Sheff U would not have gone down.

Perhaps. I ask because the FL tend to take a harder line than the PL, so they might do the points thang after all.

They will get away with it rich clubs always do. It begs the question why has it taken so long to come to light? Why was it not picked up when the transfer first took place?

They'll sue if there isn't a points deduction and they get relegated.

Sheff UTD then got 30 million pounds in compensation because it was later deemed West Ham should have got a points reduction.

If QPR get away without a points deduction then the only thing you can judge is that Sheffield United shouldn't have got that pay out after all.
