Nice response from the club. Much closer to what they should've come out with in the first place and I hope it means they take the criticism on board this time as it's not the first time they've got this a bit wrong.
I'd still argue that the free transport wouldn't have made that much difference but you have expect them to throw in some mitigation as well as their apology.
I'd love to have seen the build up to this apology though. I wonder if it was a directive from top down or bottom up using the big gun to sort out the mess.
