Schards#2 At least the debate has moved on from whether there has been a mistake made to who was responsible.

like everything else in complex systems. lots of people are to blame a little bit.

FWIW I kind of understand what has happened. Having been to Everton and Liverpool away we didn't break the 1,000 barrier, so taking 2,800 would seem safe (esp if there were abortive costs for send backs). It all boils down to the coaches being a spur of the moment thing - if they had decided to do it earlier they would have surely taken more tickets.

Anyway.....Have registered as a City fan and have bought a ticket for the home end! Living ooop north does have it's benefits!!! I shall of course behave impeccably should the unthinkable happen........

It's quite clear that whoever would be responsible for ticket allocation made the decision with little thought on the basis that we probably weren't going to be in the round and that the safe option was still double our better sized away support.

It's also quite clear that the free coach travel was made as a decision after this, and by someone else. It just exacerbated what was already going to be a high demand situation.

Mistakes get made sometimes. Everyone here has F-ed up at some point, but that doesn't mean heads should role. People learn best from their mistakes. No one died, get over it.

Mine also haven't come.

I'm leaving before the post tomorrow so RFC have told me they will request a duplicate. I'm not going to relax till sunday now. Anyone else ever had to do this?

It's all gonna kick off in the home ends when we take the lead and a few dozen rumblestix go off like a gun.

That just about caps it all for some of you. Third world postal systems cannot deliver in the surrounding areas.
