RobRoyal
1 min: Off we go then. Reading, in black shirts and red shorts, start the match, kicking from right to left. Very quickly, City get a goal-kick. It doesn't look like Reading have sold out their away allocation, a risible state of affairs.

Lunchtime news, BBC, the bit where they tell you what is on the local news...

"Reading heading for the playoffs after beating Pompey..."

While showing footage of them scoring against us- at FP. KUNTS the lot of them.

From FourFourTwo (May 2011) article on 30 maddest refereeing moments...
The linesman flagged for a goal after a shot by Reading's John Eustace went out for a corner before being hooked back into play

The text is accompanied by a picture of Noel Hunt in a Reading shirt and the back of a Watford player with the name Eustace clearly displayed on the yellow shirt...

From today's BBC live text:
Football League Al: "Amazing scenes at Nottingham Forest after a late penalty put the home side level at 3-3 but Reading struck a dramatic fourth and hold on after FOREST miss an injury-time penalty.

Presumably in The Football League Show they were discussing games IN The Football League.

Yes and its still 8. We've won 8 league games on the bounce since the 3-3 draw with Palace.

Yet again they "reviewed" a game before showing the highlights. The certainly didn't recover well from it either. Great format, terrible presenting!

Alan Green on 606 asked if second place was realistic, given he hadn't looked at the table.

BBC live text on the royal wedding:

0900:

Sir John Madejeski, chairman of Reading Football Club, has arrived at the abbey. He tells the BBC that all guests have been told to bring a utility bill. He went for council tax. We wonder what that's all about...

Can't remember where it was said, BBC, I think

But they praised QPR's "Incredible" 88-point haul"in such a competitive league

How about Newcastle last year, never mind our 106

Actually it's really quite average isn't it, for champions.

BBC Savage had already been booked for pulling back Jay Tabb when he was dispossessed by Church, who was brought down by Michail Antonio in the area.
