Hate? Very stron and emotive word. But for me there is only one club that could remotely come close and that would be the kiddie fiddling, sheep molesting scum 40 miles west. Can't stand them whatsoever and I refuse to even type any of their name so large is my contempt towards them.

As for clubs that I dislike, number 2 on the list will be that bunch of pikey scum on the south coast. Took a bit of a kicking from them in the 1980s. Absolute pond life.

Number 3? Dirty Leeds. The most arrogant supporters in the world. Even more so than the no-necks that follow chelski.

Other dishonourable mentions go to Gillingham, Watford and Bournemouth. I remember Gillingham fans being completely disrespectful in a cup tie in the 90s. Made Reading's Mongs look cultured.

Sang through a minute's silence for one of our vice presidents, I think.

They are also the only set of fans I ever saw cause trouble in the Spread Eagle.

papereyes Another aside - when we played Everton, there were loads of chants at Phil Neville and, to a lesser extent, David Moyes. I like David Moyes and he's doing it right at Goodison. And Phil Neville, while not the best or most handsome player in the world, is a decent pro who has made the best of his ability. My face = :|

It might be because fans sometimes like to joke about/mock opposition players.

Celtic: IRA supporting plastic paddy 'Ultra' wannabe soap dodgers.

Why Walsall out of curiosity? I have no feelings either way personally but drove past the ground once and it looked like it might be worth a visit some day.

Ideal 1. Chelsea - all their fans are idiots. A while back there was some 16 year old kid at the pub wearing a chelsea shirt with Lampard on the back, during the course of conversation I asked him if he was one of those glory hunters who only started supporting chelsea because they were buying every single player on earth and usually winning quite often. He then said to me that he "was a chelsea fan long before abramovich took over"..
Which to me seems very illogical.
As far as I know Abramovich took over the club in 2003, so that would be eight years ago, making him eight years old at the time.
You'd think it would be very difficult for an eight year old Norwegian kid to consciously select an English football team at that age, when he's barely learning to read and write, but then again he was a fan long before abramovich took over, so that would put his conscious decision to start being a chelsea fan sometime in the mid nineties, so I assume he just plopped out of his mothers vagina and shouted "Dmitri Kharine is the best goalie in the world!"...

What a cock knocker you are. You were picking on a 16 year old kid, cos he supports Chelsea. Chelsea have always had quite a big following in Norway mainly because of Tore Andre Flo. And if he supported them before Abramovich it would have been in this era. I may be wrong. Kids support successful teams. It's happened since I can remember - why do you think there are so many Liverpool 'fans' that don't come from Liverpool who are in their 30's now....cos they were the most successful team when they were at school.

leon Chelsea - sh*t team, whose fans (who are either thick f*cks or g*y luvvies) have always had a massively high opinion of the team despite being utterly sh*t for their entire history bar 8 years. Just like the Newcastle mongs except I hate them more. Which is saying a great deal.

Don't hate any clubs per se.

But there are a number of owners or other people in football I absolutely loathe, and in some cases clubs do take on the characteristics of the people in charge.

The three below, between them, epitomise all that is wrong with today's football - 1 "owner" (*), 1 CEO, 1 manager.

1. Ken Bates
2. Peter Kenyon
3. Harry Redknapp

(*) Despite his protestations, I do believe Ken Bates "owns" Leeds, even though no one person or organisation owns more than 10% of the company. Instead, a number of overseas-registered investment trusts each own 9.9% of the company. The ownership of these overseas-registered investment trusts is not open to scrutiny, although Mr Bates does deny any involvement with them.

Ask me again when his case for tax evasion is heard.... all will come out then.

But he epitomises the worst kind of wheeler-dealer, throw-any financial caution to the wind while feathering his own nest, type of manager.
