a, I can't see how those hands couldn't be attached to anyone else but Bellamy and b, wasn't there video evidence of the bottle kicking/throwing incident? Did I dream seeing it on the tv not long after the match or was that someone else?

No Cardiff player was charged for the on-field fracas, only Leighterwood was charged for that. So the photo is irrelevant to yesterday's judgement.

tbh I thought that I was making a fairly obvious joke in the form of satire of whatever decision process the FAW use...

This is the least surprising thing ever; who REALLY believed that the FAW would penalise one of "their" teams?

Presumably the same people that think the moon is made of cheese.

Well, the least surprising news of the season comes to pass. They play in the english league, let the english FA deal with them. What a pathetic and obvious turn of events, I hope Dave Jones get A*DS. Welsh c*nts.

Are Reading blameless in all this? I don't think so. If it was a higher profile team, more would have been made of this. What a disgrace.

I hate all the anti-Welsh stuff on here but agree the FAW have been feeble here. I've never understood why the Welsh clubs have remained under the FAW jurisdiction. That does need to change. Its ridiculous for one set of rules to apply to two clubs with a different set to the remaining 90.

So Cardiff got fined the same amount for their part in the tunnel as we had (and only suspended) for the fracas at Swansea. I don't see a lot of disparity there to be honest.

There is perhaps a disparity in Bellamy's role in the events in the tunnel, but to be fair it's one thing accepting that there was provocation and another thing to find someone guilty and impose fines on them. I presume the FA's follow the same principal of innocent until proven guilty.

Basically it seems to be more of a storm in a teacup as a one off. It does seem they get lenient treatment but I'm not sure that's really true.

Sorry but its 3 - Wrexham. But the whole argument is valid as to why the Football League does not have a unified disciplinary process. It may have been mentioned before , but what is of great significance is that the timing of the hearing ( much later than ours) was AFTER Cardiff's run of games against their most difficult opponents. Pure co-incidence I'm sure !!

Svlad Cjelli No Cardiff player was charged for the on-field fracas, only Leighterwood was charged for that. So the photo is irrelevant to yesterday's judgement.

Surely it had something to do with:

Cardiff City FC were charged with two breaches of FAW Rule 24.2.13 for the alleged failure of its players to conduct themselves in an orderly fashion during and following the conclusion of the match.

and
The Panel also determined that the charge relating to the conduct of the players whilst on the pitch was not proven.

Every time you hear of something involving the FAW they show leniency to their clubs when disciplinary hearings take place.

Then again they are the same FAW who don't know the actual capacity of their National Stadium so its no surprise they can't issue tough sanctions against clubs for failing to control their players.

.

Not really. Our FA seem to operate on the basis that the onus is on the clubs to prove themselves not guilty.

Their FA seems to not only take the opposing view, but also show huge leniency if the club can list any mitigating circumstances
