muddyfeet As I may have already mentioned complete load of rubbish
Yeah I haven't noticed any difference whatsoever. Didn't even know they were doing the campaign.

Royal Lady I thought it was reducing the price of wine and adding noodles to the food available.

Royal Lady Of course, if the club REALLY were concerned with being Family Club of the Year and also attracting more women, they might think to ask to a cross-section of family supporters and women what they would like or whatever.
To be honest though, I can't think of anything that would make it "nicer" for me as a woman to attend matches - unless it was sending Matt Mills to sit next to me for a match....

Royal Lady Who did you volunteer to? I doubt they'll let Millsy sit with me whilst he's injured though....

Agreed when I questioned this a few months ago - this is the link they sent me

Clearly stating what we talked about before

Ah, but they've moved on from that now. Do keep up.

Royal Lady I have 3 children but they're all way too old to be involved in soccer schools for a start.
Personally, I'm not interested in women's football either. I just don't see how some noodles and a reduced 1/4 bottle of wine, together with a one-off link to Breast Cancer Support day and a few more lines in a programme about the women's football team = RFC are doing great stuff for women and increasing their female fan base.
I doubt any woman has decided to suddenly start accompanying her bloke to the games because of the above. But that's just me, they must be doing something right to win this award.

floyd__streete ^ Fair play, RL. Tbf to you, you are no band-wagon jumper as you first got into RFC back in the 1970s didn't you, when you used to be a man.

Sarah Star Bit like me then - asked a relative to come with you the first time then carried on going regardless of whether they did or not. Tbh, I don't think there's many like us. Doesn't appear so when I ask around, not women anyway... although maybe I just haven't bumped into them yet.
