Is the beast left footed? Both his goal and his strike came off his left foot on Saturday ....

Mathieu Manset was became the hero here onwards as he struck a neat finish with left foot, placing the ball in the back of the net. ...

blogs.bettor.com/FA-Cup-Match-Report-Wycombe-Wanderers-versus-Hereford-United,-Half-Time-0-1-a52342

Bulls took a fourth-minute lead when Mathieu Manset fired in a left-foot shot before Lincoln drew level..

Plus if you look at some of those chances on youtube he tries to get on his left foot a lot

I would say yes. Beware the left claw of the beast

Against QPR after we'd gone behind he got put through and seemed to have an easy right-foot shot for the equaliser. Instead he tried an outside of the left foot effort that went well wide.

So yes, Very left-footed.

2.Lionel Messi
3.Robin Van Persie
4.Ryan Giggs
5.Petr Cech
6.Patrice Evra
7.Raul
8.Arjen Robin
9.Ashley Cole
10.David Silva

Give him time - he needs time.

No Bobby Convey?! He was awesome in our promotion season! one of the best left wingers we've had even if he was a little lightweight and he only really lasted a season and a half lol :D

McAnuff is definitely right footed

Manset is left footed, noticed it immediately when he was doing all his kick ups at halftime in the Hull game with his left.

Kitson was left footed - a bit more capable on his right foot than some of the above (Shorey!) but seemed to prefer his left

Surely Andy Hughes must head that list, he had two great left feet!

No mention of Michael Gilkes? Poor effort

Best left foot I remember was Nicky Hammond's, used to ping in crosses as 'keeper coach better than any of the outfield players

Yes, forgot about Kitson, though I think he may have been naturally right-footed but worked on his left and it turned out stronger than his right ? Him apart, it is quite noticeable that left-footers (ahem) seem more one-footed than right footers, hence Manset running in circles sometimes to get on his left, as did Shorey sometimes. Also, forgot about John Salako on the previous list, `pretty useful `on the left wing, and I take the point re Convey, good but only for one season out of the 4 that he was here. Any more ?
