What is the capacity of that thing? Love it, although would have more seating behind the goal.
I think its around the 100,000 mark. All the seating can be moved around aswell I believe. There was an episode of Extreme Engineering on it.

The Petrovsky Stadium. Zenit were shit when I saw them, then they got huge financial backing from Gazprom.

You look at pics like that and you wonder there weren't more disasters. There was crowd trouble but then to blame foootball fans and treat them like cattle was surely not the best preventative method?

I was more worried by the roof panels lifting off in the breeze, and the section of roof beam lying on the floor of the terrace.

The Yale Bowl, New Haven, CT. Seats 64,000 and is a great place to take in a game. The stadium was used for concerts in the 1970's but it stopped hosting them in 1980 due to noise complaints from people living in the neighborhood. It has been designated a national historic landmark by the US government in 1987.

I took some pics at Fellows Park when we played Walsall about 2 or 3 games before they closed the place - and yep, the fences were close to 20/25 foot high! Insane!

Don't know when that website data was written, but I'm pretty sure that there were more than 2 other League grounds named after people..............Adams Park for one. (oh yeah - don't we play in a ground named after some bloke as well??)

Think it's Odi Stadium near Pretoria. Drove past it en route to Bloemfontein last summer. Absolute dump.
